Why plant a tree?

Not all you buy was created equal.

Two products may offer the same value equation but what about the things behind the product? These are the way the product is made, its environmental impacts, CO2 emissions, end of product life possibilities and so on.

Carbon Dioxide is one of the by-products attached to all human activity in our carbon dependent world. The bar runner company acknowledges this and even though we do many things already for the environment we choose to plant a tree with each order we receive from you.

It’s doing just that little extra. It's being environmentally responsible.

All plantings are done by Trees for Life in bio-diverse plantings of native Australian species in an approved way to create recognised carbon sequesting forests. More information is at http://www.treesforlife.org.au/home/

Having just launched this website on December 1 st 2007 there’s not a lot to show you right now.. However, every 6 months beginning 30/6/2008 we will publish here a record of the number of trees your purchases have supported.
